Explain the development of ICT and their impact on the development of society. Know the importance of communication networks and their services for users. Be able to present and express information and methods of its transmission over electronic communication networks (analog signal, digital signal). Understand the basic functions of transmission (transmission, addressing, interconnection / signaling, signaling) and the basic parameters of electronic communication networks (transmission rate, delay, error rate). Know the names of basic technologies of electronic communication networks and their models and topologies. Explain the importance of standardization and know the main standardization organizations for information and communication technologies. Know the general protocol structure, terms protocol, function, service, functional entity layers and the importance of protocols and services between layers.
