Learning outcomes
By completing the subject, the student will gain knowledge of current development trends in the area that is the subject of his research work. The PhD. student will demonstrate a systematic understanding of the field of study and will acquire skills and methods of scientific research associated with the field corresponding to the current state of knowledge of the field of study. He will learn to work independently with sources of scientific information, he is capable of critical analysis, synthesis, and new complex concepts. The specific syllabus of the subject is determined individually from the field of study. He will prove the acquired knowledge during the passing of the dissertation exam.

Completion conditions
Assessment and completion of the course: Credit test Continuous assessment: Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 1u out of 1u. Credit test Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
