Learning outcomes

The student will gain in-depth knowledge of the topic of the diploma thesis and also experience in its complex solution and processing. He learns engineering methods and procedures and obtains original professional results. He can present and defend these results. This subject represents the last stage of solving and developing the diploma thesis.

Course outline

- Complex solution and processing of the thesis. - Application of experimental, structural, theoretical and software tools as needed. - Presentation and defense of the thesis.

Completion conditions

Assessment and completion of the course: State examination - Thesis Defence for 1st and 2nd Degree Continuous assessment: Student passes the continuous assessment and receives credits when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 51% out of 100%. Supervisor´s assessment of the final thesis, Opponent´s assessment of the final thesis Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 51% out of 100%. Assessment of State Examination Commission Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
