Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to give students a brief overview of latest knowledge on the microworld.
Course outline
Special Theory of Relativity Introduction to Quantum Mechanics Atom Nucleus Forces in Nature Standard Model of Microworld Accelerators, Detectors, CERN Cosmology and Particle Physics
Completion conditions
Assessment and completion of the course: Graded credit test Continuous assessment: Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 51% out of 100%. Graded credit test Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
