Learning outcomes
The objective of the course in terms of learning outcomes and competencies The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic knowledge of integral calculus and the differential calculus of the functions with n variables and the most useful methods of solving the typical problems.
Course outline
Primitive function and indeterminate integral, decomposition into partial fractions. Integrating rational functions and irrational functions. Integration of goniometric functions. A certain integral. Non-proprietary integrals. Applications of integral calculus. The function of n variables is continuity. Partial derivatives. Taylor's theorem. Extrema of two variables functions.
Completion conditions
Assessment and completion of the course: Graded credit test Continuous assessment: Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 51% out of 100%. Graded credit test Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
