Learning outcomes

Repetition of secondary school mathematics at the level of the gymnasium curriculum necessary for successful mastering of higher mathematics taught at bachelor degree.

Course outline

1-Editing Expressions 2-Linear and quadratic equations, equation systems 3-Systems of linear equations-Gaussian elimination method 4-Linear and Quadratic Inequalities 5-Equations and inequalities with an unknown in absolute value 6 -Polynomials. Horner's scheme 7-Functions 8-Complex numbers

Completion conditions

Assessment and completion of the course: Credit test Continuous assessment: Student passes the continuous assessment and receives credits when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 1u out of 1u. Credit test Final assessment: Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
