Learning outcomes
Acquiring knowledge from the theory and on methodology of informatics engineering and to exercise self-contained working with scientific information sources. The subject structure will be negotiated individually with respect to scientific domain to be explored.
Course outline
- Formal methods of the design and analysis of systems - Validation and verification of systems: model checking - Formal specification of programming languages and of programming languages systems; transformation and verification of programs. - Metalanguage systems.Profiling and verification of systems. Principles and methods of program systems implementation, optimization of implementation. - Safety and reliability of systems. - Programming paradigmas, semantics of programming languages , program derivation. - Theoretical principles and methods of user interface design. - Advanced data structures.
Completion conditions
Assessment and completion of the course: Credit test Continuous assessment: elaborating and presentation of an essay on the subject chosen Final assessment: Student passes the final assessment and passes the examination when he or she meets the requirement to obtain at least 1u out of 1u. elaborating of a final seminar work Overall assessment: Overall assessment is the sum of the assessments obtained by students in the assessment period. The overall result is determined in accordance with the internal regulations of the Technical University in Košice. (Study Regulations, the internal regulation principles of doctoral studies)
